Text Box: 2009 Band Bio's Text Box: Over the years a number of members of the Desperate Dan Band have either individually or individually worked, played with or supported some of the most credible names in world music i.e. Paul McCartney, Jools Holland, Elton John, Leo Sayer, Chris Farlowe, Buddy Whittington (John Mayall), Mike Estes (Lynrd Skynrd) to name but a few. The various line ups have included at one time or another such people as Dave Mattacks (Fairport, Mary Chapin-Carpenter), Robin Goodridge (Bush), Nigel Glockler & Doug Scarrat (Saxon) Terry Popple (Snafu &Van Morrison) and Miller Anderson (Spencer Davis, Keef Hartley, Donovan, T Rex).   The members of the band have worked with and supported some of the most credible names in the business, either collectively or individually - people like Paul McCartney, Jools Holland, Elton John, Leo Sayer, Chris Farlowe, Buddy Whittington (John Mayall), Mike Estes (Lynrd Skynrd) to name but a few - having had in the line-up at one time or another such people as Dave Mattacks (Fairport, Mary Chapin-Carpenter), Robin Goodridge (Bush), Nigel Glockler & Doug Scarrat (Saxon) Terry Popple ( Snafu &Van Morrison ) and Miller Anderson (Spencer Davis, Keef Hartley, Donovan, T Rex etc).   Text Box: Robert C. Text Box: The Desperate Dan here in 2009 band are as hard-working as ever and are currently formed as a six-piece outfit who have travelled the length and breadth of the UK as have previous line ups over the last twenty six years.
